Established in 1947, Higgins Bakery is a traditional bakery with a modern touch. It is still a part of the Higgins Family and is now run by Mat Higgins, the grandson of the infamous Ron Higgins.
Mat's Christmas puddings are something truly special! They are baked in a container, then sealed in an airtight lid and wrapped in cloth. The baking is already done so on Christmas day all you need to do is remove the lid and warm it in the microwave. The taste is magnificent and your family and friends will think you've slaved away for hours baking the most delicious and traditional pudding for them! The cost of the pudding is just $18 and well worth it considering the cost of purchasing your own ingredients, the cost of electricity and the cost of your own time.
