Looking for real homemade soaps? Love gorgeous essential oils and fragrances? Want to know exactly what's in your soap? And hoping to support Aussie made? Then lucky you (and lucky me!) there's a gorgeous little Hidden Gem right here on the northside of Brissy making soaps from home at matching gorgeous little prices!
This is not a shop - but rather a market stall run by Kareena and Bryan from Morayfield. Kareena makes her soaps at home and sells them online via Facebook and also at her local markets in Caboolture (Sunday at the showgrounds), Redcliffe (Saturdays) and Eumundi (Saturdays) plus Caloundra.
The range is extensive and includes goats milk soaps, essential oil soaps, even fabulous cakes of soap that look like real cake. And they even sell cupcake soaps - how cute is that?
I recently bought the Cinnamon Delight, made with cinnamon bark, clove leaf and sweet orange. The other ingredients used include: cottonseed oil, rice bran oil, coconut oil, soybean oil, olive oil, shea butter, cosmetic grade oxide (colour) plus 100% pure essential oil for fragrance.
I also got a beautiful fresh smelling cucumber soap. In total, I chose four soaps and paid $15. They came individually packed in sweet little gift bags tied with ribbon, so you can give them away as gifts! And they're able to make up gift boxes for you too if this is what you're after.
If you don't live locally, you can order online with a flat postage fee of $7.00 Australia wide, and if you're a Facebook girl like me, then have a look through the albums at https://www.facebook.com/mysoap.
To get the best deal on price, go to the market stall. It's $15 for 4 soaps. If you're after the goats milk soaps then they're a bit more expensive.
You can also order online. The soaps start at $4.50 each, plus $7.00 postage - this is a flat fee Australia wide, meaning you can order as much as you want and pay the one postage and handling fee!
