Picker's Market 9 Godfrey Street, Walliston, Western Australia, Australia

My hidden gem is the Picker's Market. They are located in Walliston near Kalamunda in the HIlls Western Australia. A sign on my local roundabout caught my attention today advertising FREE ROCKMELONS at the picker's market so I decided to check them out.

The owner said they have only been open two days and I must say the shop looks amazing and the friendly service was a breath of fresh air. There was fresh fruit and vege, fresh home made pasta and staples including milk and bread all at very good prices. The jewel in my shopping crown though, was, on top of getting the free rockmelon I got FREE potatoes when I spent over $10 - what a bargain!

I will definitely shop here regularly and will be telling my friends to do so also.

I believe the offer of free potatoes is available for at least a few months and the owner said they will be giving out free products on the spot at different times as well.

Looks like you will always find a freebie or two at this shop.

I popped up here last week after seeing this posting, I wasn't impressed, not particularly good quality or prices or variety. I'd pass on this one and travel to Benara or the spud shed Jandakot fortnightly in favour of this one weekly and just 5 minutes away

The owner is an 18 year old young man and he is constantly trying to improve and he has so many more bulk items in drums now, different flours, GF items and the like.
